Disciplinary Action

Although problems and conflicts may arise occasionally amongst different members of our program, we shall assure you that it is our utmost duty to resolve these issues. At this juncture, we must abide to the course of disciplinary action as outlined below in order to protect the quality of the program and most importantly, promote the safety of the participants as our first priority.

Please read the following procedures that will apply to situations where parent/guardian figures and/or coaches must engage in conflict resolution and possible disciplinary action in regards to athlete behavioral attitudes or issues:

1. COACHES WILL DISCUSS THE CONFLICT/PROBLEM IN A DISCRETE MANNER DIRECTLY TO THE WRESTLER WITH THE BELIEF THAT ISSUE WILL BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY SINCE WE EXPECT OUR ATHLETES TO BE RESPONSIBLE AS WELL AS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS AND PERSONAL SITUATIONS.

2. IF THE CONFLICT/PROBLEM PERSISTS, THE COACHING STAFF WILL COMMUNICATE WITH THE WRESTLER’S PARENT/GUARDIAN TO DISCUSS THE CONFLICT/PROBLEM AND FAULT OF THE WRESTLER(S). THE PARENT/GUARDIANS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE INVOLVED DURING THE CORRECTION OF THE CONFLICT/PROBLEM.

3. IF THE CONFLICT/PROBLEM CONTINUES, THE HEAD COACH MAY TEMPORARILY SUSPEND THE WRESTLER. IF THE SITUATION WARRANTS, THE HEAD COACH CAN HAS THE ABILITY TO ADVOCATE FOR THE PERMANENT REMOVAL OF THE PARTICIPANT FROM C.R.E.A.M.P.U.F.F. WRESTLING CLUB IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ATHLETE’S PARENT/GUARDIAN AS A RESULTANT OF THEIR VIOLATION OF THE PROGRAM POLICY AND RULES THAT COMPRISES THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL, OTHER ATHLETES, AND COACHING STAFF.
